Kronk's Adoption Anniversary

It was three years ago today that we officially adopted Kronk. He has been so much fun and makes us laugh everyday. Here are some of our favorite pictures over the past three years...enjoy!

Thanks Kronk for the fun memories.

Global Warming?

Today in Iowa City we had some chilly weather. It was in the mid 60's today and I was so cold that I made myself some hot chocolate. Can you believe that? It's August 21st and I already had to pull out my hot chocolate that I haven't touched in months!

Oh well...at least it tasted yummy. :)

Kernels

Last night, we went to the Kernels baseball game in Cedar Rapids with some friends of ours, the Wards. Don't I look graceful in this self-portrait?

We had AWESOME seats. We were just behind the first base line dugout.

The Kernels are a single A feeder team to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. As some of you already know, Nathan and I are big Angels fans so it was fun to go see the Kernels play, despite the muggy weather we had yesterday. Go Angels!

A Cat on a Leash

Yes it's true...and I've got pictures to prove it.

Our cat Kronk LOVES to go for walks! And he knows that the only way he gets to go outside is when he is on his leash. One of the best parts of the whole thing is watching people crane their necks as they drive by in disbelief. Check it out.

"Man"opause?

Nathan was sick this weekend with a nasty cold and ended up going through 3 boxes of Kleenexes! Poor thing...his nose is so red. :(

He also went through what he called "man"opause because he was constantly too hot or to cold.

These were some (not all) of the necessities that were needed to help nurse him back to health. Hmmm...maybe I should have made Nathan take a picture of me with the necessities since I played nurse for the weekend--which I was happy to do. Glad you're feeling better honey.
