Saying prayers and trying on bras

There have been a select few times that Hannah has started to say single words during prayers all by herself.  As we were doing Hannah's bedtime routine tonight we asked if she wanted to say her own prayers.  She answered in the affirmative, so Nathan asked me to help Hannah use her words.  This is how her prayer this evening went:

Rachel: "Heavenly Father."

Hannah: "Fader."

Rachel: "Sleep well."

Hannah: "Sweep."

Rachel: "Mommy & Daddy."

Hannah: "Mommy & Daddy."

Rachel: "Grandmas & Grandpas."

Hannah: "Gama & Gapa."

Rachel: "Jesus."

Hannah: "Eesus."

Rachel: "Christ."

Hannah: "Kist."

Rachel: "Amen."

Hannah: "Amen."

It was priceless, and it completely melted our hearts.  We cannot believe how big she is getting. It was just a year ago that she said her first word (which was amen if you recall) and now she's starting to learn to pray by using her words.  Parenthood is a challenge, but when you have moments like this it is worth it.

On a funnier note, when we came home from church on Sunday Hannah came into our room while we changed our clothes.  She found one of my bras and really wanted to put it on.  It was too funny, so Nathan took some pictures with his phone and we laughed for a good 15 minutes.

Enjoy.
