Ireland Cousins

This past weekend we made a trip down to the Kansas City area in Missouri. The main reason we went was to see the Church History sites in Independence, Far West, and Adam-ondi-Ahman. Plus, we really wanted to meet up with some of Nathan's cousins. It was nice to catch up, but the best part was playing Nertz!

Nertz is a very fast, multi player card game. It's a combination of the card games Speed and Solitaire. It is so much fun, but it is very challenging with multiple players.

Here is a picture of what the game looks like after someone calls "Nertz!" Nathan's cousins (Eve and Mara) are so fast that they put everyone else to shame. We ended up playing 30 games on Saturday night, and about another 30 Sunday night. Mara won on Saturday, but Rachel ended up winning on Sunday main because #1 Eve had to step out now and again so that she could feed her little girl, and #2 Mara was exhausted from the previous nights game.
Here is a picture with the Ireland Cousins (from left to right): Rachel, Nathan, Mara, Eve and her husband Phil holding their daughter Avery, and Seann.
Thanks guys for having us over. It was a BLAST!
